The MUSED project has received an important recognition as a “Best Practice” initiative from Scuola di Alta Formazione dell’Istruzione and the Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito from Italy.

The recognition was awarded within the national public call dedicated to innovative training practices developed by Italian educational institutions. The official decree, published on 18 May 2026, includes MUSED among the projects selected as “Buone Pratiche” for their educational quality, innovation and impact.
This recognition arrives during the final phase of the project and represents an important acknowledgement of the work carried out over the past months by all partner organisations, teachers, educators and cultural institutions involved in the consortium.
MUSED was developed to explore new ways of connecting education, cultural heritage and digital innovation through the creation of virtual museums and immersive learning experiences. Throughout the project, partners worked together to experiment with multimedia storytelling, digital heritage tools and collaborative educational methodologies focused on UNESCO-related cultural heritage themes.
The “Best Practice” label highlights several key elements of the project:
- the innovative use of virtual museums in education
- the collaboration between schools, museums and cultural organisations
- the integration of multimedia and interactive digital tools
- the focus on accessibility and inclusive participation
- the promotion of cultural heritage through creative and educational experiences
As the project approaches its conclusion, the partnership is now entering the dissemination and public presentation phase.
During the month of June 2026, each partner organisation will host a local multiplier event to present the project results, share the educational outcomes and officially showcase the virtual museums developed during the project activities.
The final Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) will take place in Istanbul on 15–16 July 2026 and will mark the closing stage of the international cooperation process, bringing together all partners to evaluate the project results and discuss future sustainability opportunities.
The MUSED consortium would like to thank all participants, teachers, students and institutions that contributed to the success of the project and to the achievement of this important recognition.
