Model Vocational High School of Epanomi

The Model Vocational High School of Epanomi, founded in 2006 and reformed into a Model School in 2021-22, is located in Epanomi, a town of 10,000 inhabitants, 30 km southeast of Thessaloniki. It is staffed by approximately 95 highly qualified teachers and hosts 570 students aged 15-18, coming from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. Graduates obtain both a Level 4 Specialty Certificate and a High School Diploma, with eligibility for the University Entrance Examinations.  It offers a wide range of Sectors such as Health and Care, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Agronomy, Maritime Studies, IT, and Economics. Since its foundation the school has been actively engaged in numerous European programmes (Leonardo, Comenius, Erasmus+, eTwinning) focusing on pedagogy, innovation, sustainability, inclusion and intercultural cooperation.
