Our school is made up of 3 different sectors: Classical Liceo, Linguistic Liceo and Human Sciences. The students, about 950, come principally from our town Andria, but also from some towns nearby. Their age goes from 14 to 18. The school is quite ancient and a sort of symbol for the city. There are about 80 teachers who work in the school. We have participated on a Comenius and Erasmus project in the past and every year there are courses or activities granted by EE.UU. to develop students’ abilities. The students of our Liceo are very motivated to study and to learn, they are very kind and sociable, they like participating on this kind of projects giving their full hospitality. They participated also in competitions: Italian, Philosophy, History and of Physical Education receiving prizes. Finally, our school generally organizes linguistic stages, meetings with important authors, conferences, and it is strictly in contact with the associations and organizations of our territory, to study our past and our traditions as a good way to understand the present reality.
